Texas SNAP

Also known as: Texas Food Stamps, Lone Star Card

Texas SNAP provides monthly food benefits to eligible low-income households via the Lone Star Card (EBT). Texas does not use Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility, so federal gross and net income limits and asset tests apply.

Eligibility Requirements

Gross Income

Required

Gross monthly income must be at or below 130% of theFederal Poverty Level for your household size. Texas doesnot use Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility.
